The Louvie cabin has existed since 1997 at its current location. It replaced the old construction huts built as accommodation for the workers employed in the construction of the Louvie dam.

Towards the end of the 1960s, the canteen became Louvie's first cabin. It remains from that time  the fountain next to the river and a small house still standing which serves as accommodation for the cabin staff.  

For some of us there are also wonderful memories... Let us also note the indelible passage of two characters: Emile Corthay, the very first guardian of Louvie and  Anne Gattoni who was the soul of the cabin for almost 20 years.
